Midwife means ‘with woman’. I believe that midwives truly live up to their name in being ‘with women’ during the entirety of their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. I believe in the beauty and process of natural childbirth. I offer prenatal care, education, labs for pregnancy, home birth and postpartum care. Each women has their own unique path to motherhood and it is an honor to be able to serve and care for them in the ways that they need.

I follow the midwifery model of care:
Monitoring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the childbearing cycle
Providing the mother with individualized education, counseling, and prenatal care, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, and postpartum support
Minimizing technological interventions
Identifying and referring women who require obstetrical attention
The application of this woman-centered model of care has been proven to reduce the incidence of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean section.
